"The TV control was glitchy and the battery cover was missing.
The toilet drainage smelt and requires some maintenance.
There is also a plug to the right side of the TV is damaged and dangerous."
"Excellent welcoming hotel with exemplary service. For the moment of check-in staff were helpful I was able to get into my room a little bit early. The room itself had a very comfortable bed and was exceptionally clean. The only area which I would improve is breakfast. This was because the food could’ve been a little hotter because the scrambled eggs have been sitting there for quite a long time they weren’t great. This would not put me off staying again, but I could get breakfast elsewhere....

"We loved the spacious rooms. Free bottle of water was a nice gesture. The rooms are nice and quiet - beds and pillows very comfortable. Bathrooms could possibly benefit from some updates - looking a little tired.
Breakfast was good value for money - plenty of choice and nice food. Bar area is lovely - great wine list!
All the staff we encountered during our stay were friendly and super helpful.

"Really, really disappointing that hotel guests have to pay, in addition to the room fee, to use the hotel swimming pool (5 British pounds/ person)!!

"Stayed here before and it is a hidden gem, tucked away in the centre of Cardiff city centre. Welcome by reception staff excellent and was given a really funky "rock music" styled room, but all are boutique and themed. Facilities in the rooms are great - Nespresso coffee, fridge and water. Bathroom has a big shower and all gels and shampoo good quality. Breakfast is varied and fresh, healthy or not. Not visited the fitness room.

"Paid more for a king room. Room251…no A/C working, no bottled waters left in fridge. The room was like a sauna and made us feel ill. Only 1 bath towel in bathroom but we found another in a cupboard. Felt like the room was rushed. Overlooked the main street. My husband witnessed a fight and there was a lot of noise from all the homeless people. Open drug use. We will never be back. The staff at the front desk were lovely and did refund our parking. We would rate this hotel as a 3*. We’re on...

Check in/out was simple and efficient.
Room Lacked a minifridge.
Room was close to the back which meant was quite noisy from trash being taken out late at night and early morning deliveries."
"We were on the first floor so the window was so high up you couldn’t see out of it. The quilt cover was ripped at the top and had been put on inside out. The shower was ok but no instruction for use were anywhere to be seen. Staff were very helpful. It was a bit noisy at night as sound proofing isn’t amazing but good enough. The pitch of the ceiling in our room came down low enough that I could hit my head on it."
