"Lovely hotel by the sea
We stayed at the Langstone Cliff hotel before a concert at Powderham castle. We arrived early afternoon and decided to have lunch on the terrace overlooking the sea. Lunch was lovely and the drinks were cold. Having parasol’s kept us cool on a very hot day. Our room was lovely, quite small but had everything we needed and the air con was an added bonus. "Good location in the centre of the town. The room was at the top of the stairs and the floor was quite wobbly, due to the age of the inn. The room was clean, staff were friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast"
"Hope Cove is a lovely place to stay. Food at the Hope and Anchor was five star. Staff were friendly. We did feel however that certain parts needed more attention. There was thick dust under the dresser in restaurant area.

"There is a lot that is exceptionally good about the hotel. The staff are extremely helpful , the food and drinks of high standard and the spa area very good. The only slight downsides were poor WiFi although this seems to affect the whole village when we visited. We’d love to come back."
"Set in beautiful grounds was lovely to sit at the top of the gardens with a glass of wine taking in the view. Nice room, not particularly big. Everything was well maintained and very clean.
