"The second I stepped out of my car and unloading my cooler I was instantly approached asking if I was staying there. I was and I was there for my birthday. So felt a bit disrespected. Planned to chill by the pool and have some drinks. He then advised I could not have my own drinks by the pool. So I chilled out by the picnic tables with my cooler waiting on my room to be ready. Then someone else approached me saying I could not have my own drinks anywhere in the public area. So I got 1 drink from...

"This property overall is excellent pool area and amenities are very nice. We have requested a unit on the second floor, but received one on the third floor. In addition the unit was to have a queen size bed and I’m quite sure it was really a double which made it a little uncomfortable for a couple. The unit also did not have a hairdryer and when I tried to report it, the communication was very poor and I never received a hairdryer."

"All communication was directed through apps that did not work. Telephone communication was machine answer and long waits with no resolution when a human was reached. There was no onsite assistance available. Yet I was charged a resort fee. There were maintenance issues and they never responded. A smoke alarm was going off continuously when we arrived. That was considered nonemergent. We were forced to climb on a rickety chair to remove it. I wonder what the fire Marshal in New Braunfels would...

"I was in town for work for the week and while looking for a hotel, found this awesome apartment for what I would have spent on a hotel. Less in fact, but it offered so much more. I don't think I will pick hotels as long as this is available for future trips. Great location with tons of restaurants nearby. "

"BE WARNED!! If there is a maintenance issue the call center is in India and you will not get what you need fixed during your stay and it can ruin your vacation. Expedia customer service is also in India. Expedia tried to reach out to the owner with no answer. We had a faulty lock on our unit. We were locked out the first night. Then the lock malfunctioned again and we couldn’t even manually unlock it from the inside! It was a safety concern that ruined our vacation. The property owner and...
