"Waited 2 hours after check-in to get my room. Room was very poor and not worth the money. Pokey little single with no outlook, basic amenities, tiny TV that didn't work. Breakfast team were very pleasant but food was cold. Outdated business resting on its laurels and not reinvesting for the benefit of guests. I should' really have complained and asked for discount but was with a group and didn't want to create any unpleasantness."
"I love old fashioned, traditional pubs & inns, and this was perfect. Wooden beams, creaky floors, etc.
The staff were wonderful and very helpful.
The meals were of high quality & decently priced, too, the breakfast exceptional!
Plenty of parking available. I will definitely visit there again."
"Lovely lodges, well maintained and nice hot tub
Only disadvantage is not being able to keep the car at the lodge as my friend has poor mobility. We had been promised the lodge closest to the restaurant building, but we weren't put in there unfortunately"
"Lovely old pub in beautiful location, excellent breakfast, with home made preserves. The dinner menu looked very exciting but sadly we were dining elsewhere. Staff most helpful, carrying luggage and providing information. There is an onsite brewery!
The night was extremely hot, so difficult to sleep, but very comfortable bed and well equipped room. The bathroom could have done with refurbishment to the tiling and taps, but was acceptable. There is a large parking area, by the river garden."
"Norma was absolutely wonderful, helpful and efficient. The accommodation was clean and tidy, shower was great. Breakfast was well varied and tasty. Evening meal was excellent. Bar and staff were good. Will be visiting again 😊"
"The room was clean the kitchen area is a real help especially for people like myself who work away a lot, it was reasonable priced for the stay and it’s right by the town so everything is on your doorstep. Parking was good and safe, staff were helpful and polite, even managed to book an e yea night last minute which was good! Definitely reccomend and will be staying again as I’m working in the area for 6 months so a great place to find

"We had a brilliant stay at Burton Court, The hosting by Ed and Helen was second to none. The freshly cooked breakfast using all local produce was amazing.
We got a full tour and history of the house which was so fascinating
