Friendly staff willing to help with anything.Excellent food in restaurant and breakfast.Quite relaxing atmosphere.Well stocked tea and coffee facilities and comfortable .Highly recommend staying here.
Our stay was great. food was delicious and the breakfast cooked to perfection. Drinks were reasonably priced. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Also chatty with customers. Nothing was to much trouble.
Popular Pub with both locals and passing trade. Hourly bus service into Bridgnorth which has a wonderful market on a Saturday. Live music on a Saturday was a nice touch. Good varied menu and choice of drink. Beer Garden very popular in good weather.
A very nice and quaint inn. Wonderful hosts, decent and comfortable room and great food. Only downside for me was very poor wifi. I get it’s in the country and normally it would not be a big deal but in my case, this time, it was.
The accomodated extremely well and even upgraded me to a bigger room for my bulk. Bar staff and restaurant excellent and very good choice on menu. Easy acces to whatever direction you need to go surrounded by wonderful scenery.

excellent stay would allways reccomend, however rooms need updating
The pub owners were lovely, the service and food was excellent. It’s a quiet pub you have to drive to. It’s a lovely traditional interior, nothing fancy but all authentic & good quality.
Lovely place, lovely staff and so friendly; good food and drink; good breakfast; facilities good and handy for Bridgnorth and Bewdley. Would stay there any time. Rooms just need a bit of updating.
Pros- clean, nice location, friendly staff.
Cons- rooms extremely dated, tatty decor, noisy, small. Breakfast choices ok but full english pretty bad.

Liked: Staff & service
Disliked: Cleanliness
This could be a lovely b&b but sadly the standard of decor and cleanlinesss is very poor. The decor is dated and does not suit the chaacterful period property and the furniture is poor quality. There were tea stains splashed up the wall and mildew in the bathroom.
Disappointed that I had to pay extra for dog which I thought was included in price. Cobwebs behind headboard that looked like they had been there some time. Bed was broken & uncomfortable. Tried to take away plate when still eating which I thought was very rude. Nice evening meal in restaurant & nice quirky pub & nice garden 4 miles outside Bridgenorth. There is nothing to do around there out in the sticks.
