"Proximity to centre of Stratford was excellent. Room was a good size, clean but slightly dated (I think that there is refurbishment work going on at the moment). Really good value for money and added bonus of cheap parking and electric charge points in the car park. Would definitely stay at the Swans Nest again."
"Lovely old property . Nicely decorated. Staff very helpful
and pleasant.
Unfortunately my bathroom needed refurbishing the bath was chipped and bath taps loose and parts missing. The window frame was rusty and needed painting. A shame because room decor was pleasant."
"Wonderful location, an easy walk to the Royal Shakespeare Theater and other Shakespeare locations. Parking ample and easy. Staff wonderful. This historic old building has been very well cared for and the decorations and gardens were delightful. We were very happy to find a ventilator already in our room. The bed was comfortable, the shower wonderful, the storage generous for our two day visit. Stratford itself was absolutely lovely, but this fantastic hotel made the trip even better!"
"The hotel is very pretty and picturesque. Housekeeping and the rest of the staff were very friendly and polite.
Reception was the exception. Nothing major, but when we arrived, staff weren't sure about simple things like parking or whether we could use the business centre, and kept having to check with each other. A smile and a warm, friendly greeting would also go a long way. It's the first impression guests get, so it's a shame it didn't match the rest of the stay.
The air-con in my room...
"The large suite upstairs is great but no lift. Luckily I had help with my luggage during check in and when checking out. The room itself is super roomy.
The bathroom vanity area has poor lighting."
"Room was amazing
Bathroom / wet room wow factor. Runner duck a fun touch
Large double bed. Extra pillows as requested
Lots of nooks and crannies for relaxing in.
Beautiful courtyard"
"We were greeted by very pleasant staff who gave us room 4. At first look the room appeared large and luxurious with a big bath.
As I started to unpack I realised there was no wardrobe, rail or hanging space. There were also no drawers so we lived out of our suitcase. That's ok for one night but not for longer.
Overall it was quiet however the guests next door were a little noisy when they returned to their room, that's not the fault of the hotel. We couldn't get into the pub car park but there...
