"It was our second time staying here, because it's location is very good if you're attending an event at the resorts world arena or using the train to go into Birmingham, both a short walk. We like having free use of the leisure facilities during our stay, pool, gym sauna steam room and jacuzzi. "A comfortable pit stop "

"The property is centrally located and likewise 5 minutes walk from the utilities arena (for gigs). The property is clean and tidy. Bedrooms have irons, ironing board, fridge facilities. Likewise the reception has a bar and breakfast facilities in the morning (with a variety of ingredients to chose from). "

"I spent two nights visiting for opera at The Hippodrome. It was just about 15 minutes’ walk to the Theatre and I felt safe as a woman of 74. Holiday Inns are all spotless and just what you need for a comfortable night or two."

"We stayed for 1 night for a concert at the Utilita Arena which is in walking distance of the hotel. The hotel staff in reception and at breakfast were all friendly and helpful. Our room was comfortable and had everything we needed but the bathroom was looking a bit tired. The price was excellent for a family of 4 though especially as a good breakfast buffet was included. We parked at Newhall Street NCP for a secure car park which was about an 8 minute walk from the hotel - maybe not ideal for...
