Um where to start, I know this is a budget hotel but paid £280 for 2 nights and wish I booked somewhere else, firstly I sent a request to the hotel 2 weeks before and never got a reply.
Room:- tiny, no separate bathroom, no locks on the toilet door, bed you get 1 flimsy pillow each, the dirt on the skirting boards was disgusting.
No tea and coffee in the room, you had to go to a whole other floor if you wanted a drink. No hairdryer and no option to borrow one from reception. Staff were ok at best not very welcoming and felt rushed to get you out the way, when handing keys back not once asked if we enjoyed our stay. Also we put a do not disturb sign on our door and this was ignored!
We ordered food on the second night and for what we paid the standard wasn’t great, drinks are expensive if it’s non alcoholic.
Around the hotel there isn’t any local shop, we had to walk to the NEC to get what we needed.
The only plus side is where it’s based if you are going to the NEC or the airport.
Would never book this hotel again, and would book for the city centre as more for you money and cheaper.
