"Room was clean, some black mold on the doorframe in the bathroom. Only first 4 hours of parking was free. Cleaning staff were quite friendly, Check in staff seemed quite young and could have been a bit more professional. Was a great location to the airport, walkable with luggage."

"The location is good and the design of the lobby is nice BUT the cleaning is very poor: 1- The shower is unclean at least in our room. 2- We asked them more than 3 times after they “clean” the room to make the bed and take the trash out. How do you clean the room if you don’t empty the trash bin or make the bed? 3- The lightbulb was flickering in the bathroom and it delays when it’s switched on. 4- The WiFi is slow."

"Right next door to EICC"

"Everything is good except squeaking sound from the floor when walking around the room in my room."

"Ideal for our short stay. Large bathroom, comfortable bed, everything new fresh and clean. The staff were very helpful, and the lack of window and natural light in our room wasn't an issue at all."

"The Hotel is located very well, saying that it is a bit more noisier due to its location. That being said, it is well kept. They were doing some renovations on the 1st floor, but did not seem to affect our stay. When I say location it was great, close to attractions, transport, and restaurants."

"Very friendly and helpful staff. Dinner and breakfast were very good (choice, portions, and taste). We found the options of rolls with drinks at breakfast a great cost effective option for those with smaller appetites and the kids. Plenty of parking. I think it could be useful to include a breakfast menu card in the room as that would allow guests to recognise the options and value available. Very nice area with large park area next to the hotel. We were in one of the annex rooms on the upper...

"Warm welcome, greeted with a smile 😃 quick efficient check-in. Roomwas clean and tidy with good amenities. Heating was on so room was nice and warm."

"Amazing stay"

"This property is central to the town. The staff are friendly and helpful. The food is good and it is excellent value for money. We are booked to go again in December."

"Das Hotel ist sehr toll. Die Lage ist sehr nah an der Princesstreet, toll gelegen. Das Zimmer ist etwas klein, aber dennoch modern, schön und gemütlich. Das Personal ist so nett und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück ebenfalls sehr gut, abwechslungsreich und lecker."

"Good parking space"

"My room was clean and the staff were kind and courteous which is the most important in my mind. The bedding and towels were spotless. You could not ask for a better position for being near everything. Of course that being Edinburgh, the room was one third of the size of my room in Cardiff and three times more expensive, which of course still a much better deal than Balmoral!! The walls are thin and luckily ear plughs are provided. There is no lift and no windows in the room which I was...

"The heating wasn't great, and there was a cold draft from the window. I feel freezing in bed."
