"Great location. The neighbourhood is fairly quiet and calm while being nearby attractions and transportation. The rooms were small but comfortable beds. There was no air conditioning which would have been fine but the heat couldn’t be turned off. The pipes that connected to the radiator were also very hot to the touch, which may be a concern for anyone sleeping in the bed closest to that wall. The bathroom was quite small but having a tub was convenient for laundry."

"The staff in the lobby were helpful and friendly, the location was excellent for the west end. The room was quiet in terms of traffic noise. the lifts were not very efficient, the beds were very squeaky and creaky but not too bad for comfort. The air conditioning was good. There is a fridge in the room which was also an unesxpected bonus."

"Aldgate East tube Station is a 30 second walk away and Aldgate tube station is less than 5 minute walk away so you have very close access to various tubes lines. Tesco (open until 11pm) is right next door to the hotel for any snacks you might need. We had breakfast on our last morning there, it was a typical British hotel buffet, great choice of hot, cold, pasty, meats, cheeses that set us up for the travel day home."

"The rooms are warm. There is no AC at all. They give you a fan. We liked the convenience to the train stations, but would stay elsewhere if traveling again. Hallways are very narrow with no elevator. Staff is nice and helpful."
