"It was an ok stay but breakfast didn’t go very well. It was very busy, peak time, they rewarded about queuing but the queues were caused by running out of food not because it was busy. Everyone was told at reception that breakfast was included but then they didn’t provide enough breakfast!! We only had a partial breakfast as there was not enough time to wait - we were down early as well! Staff were ok room was as I expected. "

"Stay here a few times a year visiting our daughter and grandchildren. It’s a long drive so we treat ourselves. The staff are always friendly,especially Howard on the bar. The rooms are clean and I think most have been recently refurbished. Our room (15 I think) only had a tiny window in the corner which was frosted. For the first time we had real trouble parking. Had to park in the alley behind and then get up before 8am to try again. On 2 of the 3 mornings I had to park in the public car park...

"Room was very clean although the hotel overall needs some TLC it’s tired . It needs to be renovated sympathetically so as not to spoil the original features. The staff were lovely very helpful and the breakfasts were delicious. I doubt we will visit Lynton again but if we did we would book another stay at this hotel. SK . Worcestershire ."

"We always find hotel rooms too hot, so take the duvet out of its cover and just use the cover. After our return at the end of our first full day, my heart sank as I though the housekeeping team had re-bagged it. However, n closer inspection whilst they had done just that, they also gave us another duvet cover so that the duvet could stay covered up. All the toiletries were very nice and refillable large bottles, not the small single use ones. Breakfast was excellent if a little pricey. ...
