Thatched Historic harbour side hotel

Outside traditional thatched building bar and dining room wood panels bedrooms modernised great bathroom free standing roll top bath good breakfast.

Very nice hotel stay

A comfortable room with a sea view & very clean. Friendly & helpful staff. Excellent breakfasts. Lovely old bar with a good selection of ales. Close to funicular railway & plenty of parking nearby.

A great stay!

We had a lovely stay at the Rising Sun hotel. Rooms were great, very comfortable with everything we needed. Restaurant food is superb, and breakfast was excellent too.

Perfectly positioned on the edge of the harbour. Our room was a standard, very small especially as we had our golden retriever with us. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is very good, with a great selection.

Lovely stay in Lynmouth

Really nice modern room in a beautiful old building with lots of character. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food in the restaurant was fantastic.

Fab hotel

Very comfy room with large bed and big walk in shower with rain and normal shower head. Tea, coffee and biscuits provided daily as well as room cleaning if required. Great cooked breakfast and staff very pleasant. Would stay again. Very convenient and within walking distance of all amenities.

This is a really nice old fashioned pub style accomodation but has a really good chef and therefore very good food. Slightly above the average price but well worth it. However there are other local options for dining. The room overlooked the bay and you could see surfers in the distance along with the small harbour. The famous Lynton to Lynmouth railway is just round the corner and well worth a trip for the spectacular views. Will definitely go back at some point.
