The lobby was nice, the exterior was nice, but the room had been smoked in the past, and once that is baked into the walls and carpets, it never comes out. I can always tell because I’m very sensitive to cigarette smoke. The caulk job in the bathroom left some to be desired. The check-in gent was very kind and efficient. "Ideal location for the NEC, restaurant served good food in the evening but the breakfast wasn't great in comparison. Rooms are a bit dated as well as are parts of the hotel but provided what I needed."
