"The entrance to the hotel was unsafe. There’s a public area just outside the doors where there’s always a number of homeless and panhandlers that you would have to navigate to get to the front door. If the benches aren’t available to sit on because of the homeless sleeping on them, it’s always wet from watering the plants behind the benches. Also, there was an overnight desk person, Terry Anna, who was always extremely rude."

"I would highly recommend Hotel St. James to anyone travelling to NYC! The staff were extremely friendly, welcoming, and approachable throughout my stay.
