"Trying to find a nice, budget-friendly hotel in NYC at the last minute was stressful. All the negative reviews here are extreme. The elevator didn’t take too long. It wasn’t too noisy (normal city/street noise). The carpet was not gross. The king sized bed was extremely comfortable. The pillows were great. The standard city view was great. The free breakfast was good. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was convenient for subways and site-seeing. All the hotel rooms in midtown...
