"Lovely welcome on Reception. Offered a free drink and Pringles - good start! TV in the allocated room did not work but we were immediately moved to a new room across the corridor. Many apologies from the Reception staff. New room had a double bed with a twin bedded room through an alcove. Shower excellent. Tea and coffee making facilities. "Staff were very helpful but the rooms were very hot. Our room was on the top floor in the roof. Extremely hot with no air, only had a small fan, windows didn’t open very far, I understand our stay was in the heatwave but the heat in the room was unbearable, couldn’t sleep, there wasn’t any ventilation at all. We did ask to be moved to another room but there wasn’t any available, we was offered a bucket of ice to put in front of the fan, but didn’t make any difference. Overall not a very good...
