"On arrival, the staff were really helpful and polite. Parking was conveniently situated across the road from the hotel. The room and bathroom had a cosy feel with lots of character and was nice and clean. The beautiful sitting room was a lovely space to relax. We ate in the bar area and the food was very good, as was breakfast the next morning. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again."

"Good hotel"

"**Disappointing stay, particularly for an elderly guest** We booked a two\-night stay based on the hotel’s excellent 8\.8 rating on Expedia, but unfortunately our experience fell well short of expectations\. On arrival, reception was unattended and our keys had been left on the desk. Staffing was extremely limited, the dining room was cold and we had to eat in the adjoining pub instead. "Great food. Lovely warm pub. Great staff."

"Everything the hotel lacked wss completely made up by the excellent service offered by Margueite. Thank you for your efforts and understanding."

"Everything was great. Maybe a usb charging point might have been good in the room. The only annoying thing was the shower gel dispenser in the bath. It didnt work. Luckily i had my own to hand."

"Very pleasing location with great view to Bristol Channel. Super friendly and helpful young couple is running it. If we would be in Lynton again, definetely we would consider to be there again!"

"We really enjoyed our stay. We were walking the SWCP and were glad to stop earlier on this leg. (Just dont take the road to the lighthouse and then climb the scree over the hill: steep and dangerous). The room was excellent. Comfortable. Delicious dinner down stairs, and lucky for us on our night, a live singer providing a musical background atmosphere. She was lovely, and just the thing to elevate the evening to next level."

"Three things you need to run a great Bed and Breakfast. 1. A great host. 2. A great bed and room. 3. A great breakfast. This place has all three and is the perfect place for a short stay in Ilfracombe. Definitely recommended."
