"Needed 2 nights away from work and home life and choose folkestone as love the beach .... The Carlton is 10 min walk from the station and 10 min walk from he beach . Shops are also about a 10 min walk Hotel was clean and staff were friendly Room was comfortable and had a sea view I didn't feel uncomfortable being on my own and would definitely visit again "

"The hotel has a slightly unusual exterior—possibly a converted building from the old Manston airfield—but don’t let that put you off. Inside, the facilities are simple, but everything is immaculately presented and spotlessly clean. The rooms are very tidy and comfortable. What really stood out was the staff: friendly, helpful, and exceptionally accommodating. They even went out of their way to rearrange furniture to create a dog-friendly space for breakfast. A great stay if you value cleanliness and warm hospitality."
