"We had a fabulous weekend break at the Great Western Hotel. The room looks to have been newly refurbished and was nicely decorated. Tea coffee in the room and complementary toiletries in the bathroom was a nice touch. The bed was really comfy and the room was cleaned each day. Breakfast choice in the morning was excellent and well cooked. Hot food made to order or continental if you prefer. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. We flew from Manchester, a 50 minute flight, caught the bus outside 30 minutes later we were in the hotel. It is a historic building with lots of memorabilia on the walls. We caught the bus to Perranporth and to Truro the walks and sights are fantastic… not to mention the beaches! We had a wonderful time. We will definitely be staying there again."
