"Hotel was very welcoming and a lovely relaxed social area. Only issue we experienced was that the AC in thecroom was stuck on 27.5 degrees at it's hottest, and staff were unable solve the problem. Generally good service otherwise."

"This is a wonderful, grand, historic building and retains the ambience of Victorian grandeur, even though there are a few scuffs and scrapes and rusted ironwork!. The reception staff were extremely welcoming and efficient and this was the case with all staff that we encountered including the breakfast staff. The room was beautifully decorated and fitted and was very comfortable with all amenities that you could want. Lots of sockets by the bed as well. Our room benefitted from a superb sea view....

Room felt like a 90's Travel Lodge, worn with a fair few obvious fixes (a few shoddy) around the room. Money off the onsite Cinema when you stay. Did everything it was supposed to do on a work trip.
