"You do get what you pay for and by all means this is not a 5 star luxury hotel. However, I have to say that I have zero complaints! - lovely staff - clean bed - kettle with coffee and tea provided - beautiful sea views (shower I faced the car park which didn’t bother me) You can hear noise from other rooms, however again this wasn’t an issue for me. If you do have this problem, I’m sure the staff will be happy to help. Thank you Carlton."

"Clean comfortable quiet room on the first floor. Staff were all very friendly, and helpful. Great service."

"Overall good experience but shower lacked power."

"Great location, great breakfast, great staff and clean rooms - lovely weekend stay!"

"Had a very nice night at this hotel. Had an executive room which was newly refurbished and really big. Staff were helpful and friendly"

"Was easy to get to and great parking on site and the rooms were clean and tidy."

"Clean room and not far from city and station & beach"

"We had a two bedroom cottage again this time because we brought our dog - it's fantastic for that reason but the standard of cleanliness was not great tim"

"The only positive thing about this hotel is the location, which is in the centre of town. Our room was on the 1st floor overlooking the street. The carpets were badly stained as was the rooms upholstered chair. The floor tiles in the bathroom were cracked and the shower water temperature was constantly changing between very hot or very cold. Due to the very hot weather we expected at least a fan for the room as the windows only partially opened. On speaking to the reception they informed me that...

"We have just stayed at The Albion Hotel in Broadstairs, we really enjoyed our stay and would return in a heartbeat. The hotel is right in the middle of all the restaurants and shops, and sea front. It was lovely having a walk along the sea front in the sun this morning very relaxing. The breakfast was lovely and the room has tea & coffee facilities, everything we wanted on our weekend away loved it. Thank you"

"Clean room and breakfast"

"Cosy room at first, then it got chilly. I asked for a heater which did a cracking job of heating the room. The staff I talked with realised the central heating had turned off so she rectified that immediately and the place warned up rapidly. TV didn't work. Shower attachment was broken. I reported these in my way out & she said they had been so busy that there was no opportunity to get the operators in to fix things. Good problem to have!"

"The perfect stay...room, location, breakfast, staff, value for money - all first rate. Would definitely return again."

"Comfortable bed - good breakfast - newly appointed bathroom - good seafront location."

"Very nice old building, immediately adjacent to the entrance to Canterbury Cathedral ticket office. Centrally located on the Royal Mile. The main downside is that parking is about 1/4 mile away and Ubers and Taxis can only get you within 100 yards of the door"
