"This was our second stay. The accommodation is conveniently located just North of Thames. It is a short five minute drive into town.
The view from the room to the sea is nice. The room is spacious. The balcony/deck - which also connects to the neighbouring rooms with a table and two chairs is nice and spacious, too.
We do like the small kitchen to prepare our own breakfast and fridge to store chilled and frozen goods.
The staff is friendly and accomodating."
"Enjoyed the pool (floor could do with a paint) and the spa was good too.
Rooms are a great size, with a handy kitchenette.
Shower is a little dated & needs a paint. (but worked fine)"
"Motel.was clean and warm But needs a new fridge there was no storage in the fridge door so had to lay milk down witch leaked Need fly spray carnt leave windows open because of mozzies. Otherwise very good . Pool was excellent good temperature. New alterations have made it even better but needs somewhere to store your towels and clothes when it rains. Thanks."
"I had a fantastic stay at Te Aputa Lodge. It is truly a great property that offers a peaceful and comfortable getaway. Waking up to the nice sea view was a major highlight of the trip. Additionally, the entire place is perfectly well maintained, from the spotless rooms to the surrounding grounds. I would absolutely stay here again."
"I would recommend staying somewhere else. Bugs everywhere in the room, especially when it was night. I stayed in room 10 which sits in the sun all day. There are no blackout curtains for all the windows so the room gets very warm. The water from the sink tasted like dirt. But worst of all, The husband that runs the motel is a rude and impatient human being. Stay somewhere else."
"Staff very welcoming and accommodating. Room needed to be aired out. Pillow or something needed to be washed or replaced.... room smelled like a clothes rack of unwashed second hand clothing found on an op-shop. Price was very good and met my needs"
"I really liked the spa pool, in the lush gardens, just beautiful. The view on the front deck overlooking the sea, stunning. Great hosts, and a lovely breakfast. The hosts advised there was a market in town, which I really enjoyed.
