Wonderful cottage

Lovely comfortable cottage, ideal for relaxing and peacefulness. The owners are wonderful, and customer service/happiness is a priority.

A very lovely welcome from host from Anna-Marie to Chartre Cottage. The weather was dull, but the view from the cottage was excellent as your stay was on a hill overlooking the town of Thames and the bay. Cottage was lovely, fresh, warm, well stocked with equipment for a meal in and plenty of supplies for breakfast - Thankyou. Well recommended for a stay.

Exceptional accommodation, highly recommend

Exceptional accomodation. Highly recommend to our fellow travellers. Expansive views on the firth of Thames- especially pretty during the sunset. Our hosts - Pauline and Dennis, were very nice and prepared to go extra mile for our stay to be a memorable one. Tea and breakfast were delicious. We would gladly stay here again.

Chateau with exquisite view and hosts

Delightful couple with the gift of hospitality to flex to guest needs. The porch settings and views were gorgeous of city, sky, snd sea. Easily accessible and a treasure of a place.

BnB on the hilltop

It was our cycling road trip away. Fantastic hill top house with wonderful view over the firth of Thames. Excellent hosts extremely friendly and good chef too. Thames and surrounding area is a hidden gem. What a friendly small town.

Comfy Cozy

I arrived, dropped my bag and straight into afternoon tea(scrummy cookies) with great company and the fabulous view. I had the cottage so it was exactly what was in the photos and more. The fire was going and the cottage was all of comfy cozy. Breakfast was more than ample and yummy. Very easy to find and handy to everything. I only wish it was summer so I could have jumped into the pool. Hats off to the Hosts.

Treated like an honored family guest.

Chartre’ Manor Bed and Breakfast is a fantastic place, what a great stay we had. The view is fantastic, the rooms are very comfortable and clean, but it is the hosts, Pauline and Dennis, that make you feel as if you are a family guest and they really want you to enjoy their home and their town of Thames. They also provided some travel ideas that we really enjoyed on the way to Rotorua, the canyon windows hike, and the evening lights at the Redwood Forrest. If you are staying anywhere near Thames, you will not be sorry you booked this loving home. Only wish our schedule had allowed for a much longer stay.
