"Very comfortable bed. Quiet area just outside of town at a reasonable rate for the night.
Man on the front desk not very welcoming or helpful. Arrived after dusk to find room door and all windows open which didn't help with warming up the room. No sky movies or smart TV."
"Motel.was clean and warm But needs a new fridge there was no storage in the fridge door so had to lay milk down witch leaked Need fly spray carnt leave windows open because of mozzies. Otherwise very good . Pool was excellent good temperature. New alterations have made it even better but needs somewhere to store your towels and clothes when it rains. Thanks."
"Aircon was broken and office closed by the time I went to put it on. Literally wore two layers of clothing and a blanket. I woke up in the morning and could clearly see my breath. Second night the staff laughed and said “oh it was a very cold night I’ll show you how to turn it on” for them to realise it was broken. Also had people partying next door until 4am when I asked them to tone it down - it would have been nice if the staff had instead."
"Our room was lovely and clean, the beds were comfortable and the room was quiet. Good ventilation along with heat pump for heating. We enjoyed our stay."
"I had a fantastic stay at Te Aputa Lodge. It is truly a great property that offers a peaceful and comfortable getaway. Waking up to the nice sea view was a major highlight of the trip. Additionally, the entire place is perfectly well maintained, from the spotless rooms to the surrounding grounds. I would absolutely stay here again."
"Good location...off street parking with supermarket across road.Our unit was recently redecorated by the look and presented clean and tidy.Room serviced each day as well.Having 2 TVs was an added bonus."
"the chalet was located next to another that had a tenant. he was noisy and disturbed ok ur stay. the manager stated there was a water issue and to conserve water. we did. the tenant power washed his stuff. woke up in the morning to no water and left ASAP."
"It was everything we required for a one night stay , it provided kitchen facilities that enabled a meal to be cooked. It is very well situated and easy to find right next to the main motorway from Auckland however there were no eateries that we found close hence the meal cooking "
"Hotel lacking in a number of areas. Advised that property maybe being used as emergency accommodation to help house homeless in area; a disclosure of this prior to booking may have assisted with decision to book hotel in first place. Owners not helpful and alternative accommodation booked last minute."
