"Good location and great view of loch. I did drive by the place as I missed the sign. The property could use a refresh, but “come for the food” - they had a really nice 3 course menu - the dining room staff very friendly and attentive - the food was very good."

"Room was fine - emergency stay after ferry was cancelled. A blind for the Velux window would be good - room was flooded with light from early morning. Not a complaint, more of a suggestion. Location good for ferry services."

"My only complaint was car parking first night had to park further along the street glad it wasn’t raining second night we got into the hotels car park"

"Overall, a very well managed hotel. The inn keeper was extremely friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Location is great along the main road. Parking behind the hotel was very convenient and there were plenty of spots when we traveled. Bed was very comfortable. Everything was very clean. In the bathroom, the sink was about the size as you would expect on a boat, very skinny and difficult to keep water from splashing everywhere. The shower was very nice, but similar to other places in Scotland there are no shelves to put toiletries on in the shower. The breakfast buffet was very tasty, ample, and fresh. We did not find a better place for breakfast in Oban. Note that if your room is on the street side, the street noise can be a bit much. "
