"Breakfast excellent with lots of choices and Sunday night dinner was really good and well prepared with the cost in line with other restaurants in the Chester area. Room clean and house keeping staff were very helpful and pleasant. The hotel was generally first class."
"Great staff and location. Walking distance to shopping, restaurant, and tourist attractions. I would recommend it to anyone. This hotel must have been something very special in its day. The bed was comfortable and room where clean the only complaint was that there was no where to plug my CPAP machine by the bed, so I just moved it closer to the plug in. Bring a mall cord just incase."
"First time staying at Moxy Chester and we will definitely be back.
Great location on the canal and literally minutes away from lots of bars and restaurants.
The complimentary coffee machine down in the bar is a great touch.
The room was modern, stylish and very clean with great toiletries included along with hairdryer, tea/coffee making facilities etc
The rooms are not very sound proofed so if you want to head up to bed early just be prepared for very loud music until midnight when it then...
"The hotel has a real boutique charm, with plenty of character and attention to detail. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere special to stay. We would definitely return!"
"Great hotel - so convenient for the airport. Rooms are really comfy and clean. Only downside is having stayed here multiple times over the years the menu is getting smaller and smaller in terms of choice. We were traveling with children and asked could they do some chips as there were tables sat with chips and were quite abruptly told no. Most of the staff were great there was one man on the bar who was rude. Overall it’s where I would choose to stay for Liverpool airport"
"We had booked the dorm for 8 people. One of the two shower and toilet rooms were out of order. When asked at reception if there was a possibility of using another shower room it was a clear no. No explanation. One of our girls had used chewing gum stuck under the bedside table and her bed broke during the night. Shower room floor had not been cleaned as bits everywhere. Shower knob fell off. Location was great and we only had a one night stay"
"Beautifully manor house just outside of Chester with plenty of free parking. The room was spacious and clean. There was plenty of space to relax in the bar area as well as a terrace. Good value for money."
"I was pleasantly surprised by this villlage hotel. Nice little touch of canned water, coffee maker with pods. Very clean and friendly staff. Will certainly be booking again."
"Can’t fault z hotel clean modern and affordable ideas for solo travel only element that would put me off as a couple is the glass bathroom. Staff and cleanliness at Liverpool branch are very good"
"Rooms are cramped and dirty, had to change towels and bedsheets as they had old stains and felt itchy.
The windows are made of paper, with drafts and zero sound insulation: you'll be able to hear everything going on outside and in the club on the ground floor.
Defining the room furnishings minimalistic would be an understatement, with no wardrobes or even a night stand to store belongings.
Bathroom is super tiny, making difficult even turning around (I'm 5ft2 and a tiny built) with no hooks or...
