"easily the best place I've stayed this year. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, the room was spotless, comfortable, and well equipped, and everything exceeded my expectations. The food was excellent, the atmosphere was great, and the whole hotel felt well run and inviting. Fantastic value for money in a great location. I'll definitely be staying here again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone visiting the area."

"Lovely welcome on Reception. Offered a free drink and Pringles - good start! TV in the allocated room did not work but we were immediately moved to a new room across the corridor. Many apologies from the Reception staff. New room had a double bed with a twin bedded room through an alcove. Shower excellent. Tea and coffee making facilities. "Far too hot to sleep in, handheld fans will not blow hot air around a room so really uncomfortable Shower water pressure was awful. You’d get a better shower in fine rain."

"The room was good for my one night stay over. Hotel was a a bit tired looking in places. Good for the price though and a delicious cooked to order English breakfast plus a selection of continental items too. Staff friendly."

"The house has rooms which are let and reminded me of a hostel. The web description of what I paid for did not tally with the room I was offered. I found I had a room on the second floor with an en-suite bathroom, an air conditioning unit which was not working, but a fan which was. The bathroom was well ventilated by a Velux window. The communal areas and staircase were not smart. The room was clean and had a kettle, tea & coffee etc. Given the price relative to local hotels it was OK for value....
