"This property is a short cab or bus ride out of fort william. Beautiful views from room and dinning area. Although out of the centre of town dinner prices were reasonable and the food was good. We booked the bed and breakfast option and breakfast was buffet style with good options. Staff were friendly and helpful. "

"The location is great. The staff is very friendly. There is a bar downstairs, great craft Scottish beer. Very relaxed feel. Property is old, had to carry luggage upstairs, and water heater a bit hard to figure out, but for the price we are paying, it is unbeatable. Thanks for wonderful Oban and Isle of Mull experience. "

"Felt like a castle in a small quaint town. The greeting from the beginning with a welcome drink was special. The windows open to allow the cool Scottish breeze into the room. The breakfast was delicious."

The grounds were pretty being right on the river. Our room was spacious and pretty comfortable, though at the price point for the room, felt that the amenities could use some love and attention. "Clean, comfortable hotel close to the railway station and town centre. I had a small room and the hotel were honest and said it was probably best suited to solo travellers or short stays. The room was big enough but the bathroom was tiny. Fine for solo travellers though. Very clean and comfortable. "

"The manager and chef were phenomenal! Book dinner reservations far in advance. Best breakfast in Scotland! The rooms are each unique and lovely. Can't recommend it enough. If you're in Oban, stay here."

I had dinner and breakfast at the bistro which was limited for veggies but no more so than any other restaurant and the staff were helpful and polite. "
