"Camino Verde was such a cute property. It’s not your typical hotel- it feels very homey and welcoming as soon as you walk in. The eating area also doubles as a “living room” of sorts with people hanging out there in the afternoons and evenings enjoying the free coffee, tea, and popcorn. The staff are excellent as well. Diego was so kind and helpful and was always a smiling face ready to greet us. My kids (and my husband and I) voted this as our favorite stay in Costa Rica due to all the factors listed above. "

"We enjoyed our stay and thought that the rooms were quaint and cute. The weather, however, was cooler in La Fortuna than expected. Add in the rain and that added to the temperature feeling even colder. Because of that the rooms got pretty cool and without having any sort of heat to turn on, that made our accommodations not as comfortable as we would've liked. "

"It’s a good size, but the room is quite rustic. Just wooden exterior walls and our cabin was close to the highway, which was very loud all night, especially when trucks with engine brakes on went by. There was no bar or hand soap, so we needed to use body wash to wash hands, also we had no hot water due to an issue with our hot water tank."
