"Although dated and in need of modernisation, this place was clean with everything you need.
Checking in and accessing the room key was quick and easy. The room was large, bathroom was clean, bedding was clean.

"My second stay in as many weeks. Room was a good size, bed was really comfortable. Greeted by a friendly bloke on reception who gave me my key. Good supply of tea, coffee, sugar and milk sachets in the room. Brilliant location for the cricket ground as well asbthebtown centre. All in all good, can't fault it with the competive prices"
"Dirty, unclean, furniture damaged, carpet not hoovered. Water runs a brown colour in the bathroom. Had to check out early and go to another hotel to get clean.

"The owner was very welcoming and helpful... Room was clean but shower cubicle could do with a clean around bottom screen hinge. Spent 2 nights here and could walk to town area and beach. Rain was quite persistent during our time but rain coats and umbrellas got us everywhere we wanted to go. Breakfast absolutely delicious would eat it for lunch and dinner.. .."

"I visited here for 3 night with my grandson. The location, views, cleanliness, bedroom were excellent. Only criticism i have is that I'm 68 and our room was on the very top floor. Not the fault of anyone. I would live to stay here again."
"Great location for Scarborough Open Air shows. Lovely room and a great breakfast. The bar was lively with a karaoke so don't plan on going to bed early. Will definitely stay again thanks"

There were vacancies but we were put on the very top floor in a loft type conversion
Which we wernt keen on.
The door to the room was a fire door which was badly fitted to a none fire door frame which is not correct.
There was a light on the landing which through the nite kept coming on and lit up the whole bedroom because of the gaps around the illegal fire door.
We trid to cover door with a blanket to cover the light but it didnt realy work.
Next time we stay in whitby...
"Room Willow: very clean and spacious, no air conditioning, however big windows allowing a lovely breeze to come through.
Only issue we found was if you want to watch the TV you have to sit on the bed, you cannot watch it from the settee.
Nice selection for breakfast and well cooked.
Hosts were very friendly and helpful giving suggestions of what to do and where to go.
Best bed and breakfast we have stayed at for along time, definitely would go again."
"Wonderful people, who couldn't do enough to help. Excellent breakfast prepared by a master. Perfect eggs. Comfortable well equipped entrance suite. Temperature rose and a fan mysteriously appeared in our room, pre emptying our request. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the first time we've really been able to relax in a long time."
"Absolutely lovely and spacious suite! We truly appreciated the snacks and breakfast items available in the unit. Everything was comfortable and to our liking. The only negative was not being able to leave our windows open due to the significant cigarette smoke coming from the open air patio directly below our unit. Other than that, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!"
