"A great place to stay although a little noisy with bars close by open very late."

"Very clean facility no matter what time of the day. Amazing and beautiful view"

"The property is very convenient to downtown and a great location. The room needs a refresh. The fixtures are very dated and worn."

"Great value for money. Standard hostel amenities..don't expect anything found at a premium hotel. Once you've got the expectation right everything is just superb. Literally metres from the waterfront, everything is within walking distance including the Snow Centre if you are skiing and catching the ski bus for the Remarkables or the Coronets. The community kitchen is my favourite part of the hostel with sweeping view of the lake and the Southern Alps."

"Pretty location, definitely would benefit from frequent cleanings."
