"Location is excellent"

"Very cute and clean cottage with everything I needed. Fantastic view!"

"The property is very convenient to downtown and a great location. The room needs a refresh. The fixtures are very dated and worn."

"Great value for money. Standard hostel amenities..don't expect anything found at a premium hotel. Once you've got the expectation right everything is just superb. Literally metres from the waterfront, everything is within walking distance including the Snow Centre if you are skiing and catching the ski bus for the Remarkables or the Coronets. The community kitchen is my favourite part of the hostel with sweeping view of the lake and the Southern Alps."

"Location was the only plus (lakeside, 5 minutes walk from Steamer Wharf). Negatives: tired, scruffy, very poorly equipped kitchen, same twin room we had last December STILL stank of cigarette smoke. Room needs some hanging space and/or shelves. Showers need to be completely replaced."

"Clean room, lack of parking lots too much congested but overall was good."

"Double booked found out at 7:30pm when checking in No phone call just an email that went to spam the day before"

"Really friendly staff. Room was great and a comfy bed after a long day. I will be back for sure."

"Best place to stay for a couple. I stayed there with my wife and 7 year old son. You got a bedroom with a D/Q bed and living room has a sofa bed (only good for kids). Sofa bed is definitely not for an adult. I loved the views from the balcony. A fully working kitchen. 😍"

"Don't hesitate just book. I have been fortunate enough to travel the world 5 star and this is awesome."
