"This place is amazing! My wife and I were on a budget and looking for a getaway for our anniversary, and this place nailed it! The bathrooms and bedrooms were average and a little quirky, which is to be expected for the age of the property. The bed was average. But the place was CLEAN and well kept. The staff were friendly and helpful. And you can’t beat the location. Also, the homemade ice cream was soooo good! Definitely recommending to friends and family. "

"Located in a very quiet area, this place is great. We had a king-sized bed and a super clean room. A beautiful waterfall is located just down the street, as well as the small historical district. Super friendly staff. You can grab pre-packaged breakfast and fruit, along with coffee. You can park right next to your room, which is super convenient. Great place!"

"This is an old-style motor lodge one would find on a U.S. Highway in the 50s or 60s. The decor shows it. If you are seeking a fancy, glitzy resort, go elsewhere. "We stayed for four nights, from Sunday to Wednesday, in mid-June. The room was comfortable and clean, but somewhat worn. The view of the lake from the patio off the room was beautiful. The perfect place to read, sip wine, and relax. Located next door to 2 vineyards with lots more nearby. Only 15 minutes to Watkins Glen and only 40 min. to Corning and the Glass Museum. We had a wonderful and restful mini vacation!!!"

"Wonderful experience at the Benjamin Hotel. Spacious, comfortable room with great amenities. It was conveniently located in downtown Watkins Glen and while there is no parking onsite, it was never an issue to find easy street parking nearby. Will definitely stay again!"

"The cottage was in a good location to get to things around Keuka and Seneca lakes. Having access to the water was a great plus. The host gave very good directions for how to find the driveway to the cottage and the best road to take to get to it as it was a bit hidden and Google maps always directed to go on a different road.
