"I don’t usually review but really liked this place. Lovely country pub with excellent clean, newly fitted rooms that are quirky due to being an old pub. Don’t expect large spacious rooms. Old pubs in Uk are small. Great staff. Good food and the walking trails are behind the pub. Lots to see and do in the area if you’re not into walking. Really enjoyed our stay. Thank you to the staff especially the bar lady. Very friendly. "

"The hostel is very close (a few minutes on foot) to the beach and to the town centre (important: for the town centre go the opposite way from the way to the beach:) You will get there in a few minutes on foot rather than half an hour or so going in a long circle - as I did with my kids! - the other way). The rooms are very secure with their own individual code to press on a panel. The owners are friendly and discreet and they leave you alone. The rooms are clean and comfortable, if a bit basic...

"The value for money at £300 a night was not up to standard. Our Shower did not work and they spent some time trying to fix it and that failed so they decided to move our room, we however then didnt have anytime to wash before going out for dinner which was awful after a full day at the beach. We then had a terrible night sleep, the beds were incredibly uncomfortable, pillows really old and poor quality too. "We had a lovely overnight stay at Little Robin Gate - we were well looked after by David and Pumpkin. Good information provided beforehand to ensure we got to the right place and could get in. David greeted us on arrival and showed us around. There is a common eating area and kitchen if you want to self cater. Lovely gardens to sit outside.
