"Large group of friends getting together for a weekend - this was the perfect house for us and in a perfect location for all the best spots of the new forest! Beautiful with loads of space and lovely big garden for the kids and dogs. Host was also incredibly friendly, responsive and helpful! "

The hosts were great at communicating and we had no issues during our stay. Although we had a bit of a surprise when the 2.5 bathrooms turned out to be 1 shower room and 2 small loo rooms without any loo role - which for a house accommodating 12 was not what we had anticipated! "

" It's a great spot for a few days in Poole, quirky little house with two sets of stairs (you'll need to be able manage them or you'll be stuck!)Has everything you need though the TV reception was a bit patchy. "Exceptional new renovation. Spectacular kitchen facilities and provisions. Great location for access to The New Forest. Wish we were staying here longer. One of the best properties of our trip. "

"We enjoyed staying in this recently modernised house in Highcliffe, with a downstairs bedroom for someone with limited mobility and very flexible living accommodation. Especially inviting was the garden which was great for a drink in the afternoon/evening. Within walking distance of Highcliffe castle and cafe, there are also plenty of places to see and eat nearby. "

"Had a lovely stay at the Hawthorns. Property is lovely and had everything we could want. Set in a lovely peaceful location with a great shop, newsagent and pub."

"We were made so welcome and the property was beautiful and modern. It was a nice quiet area, there was a pub very close by which had live music some nights food was good. Sadly not much else to do in the immediate area but for us this was not an issue as we had a car and enjoyed the trips out to different attractions. The hosts are lovely really helpful. "

"Unfortunately the house was not clean. Shoes needed to be worn as the floors were not clean enough to wear just socks. There wasn’t enough cutlery for all of us to eat. The bedrooms were well equipped but the bed was uncomfortable and pillows were so thin they were pointless. However the fact that we all had a tv and an en-suite was brilliant. Forest Park Country Hotel & Inn, Brockenhurst, New Forest

10/10 Excellent

"Mini break this is the second time staying at this hotel this year, we returned as our first stay was so good. Staff are helpful friendly and extremely polite in every area. The restaurant staff are extremely friendly and go out of their way to make sure you are happy. The only thing I would change would be more options on the menu as it is the same every night apart from Sunday which is Sunday Roast which I was disappointed in chose of gaming or chicken only beef was offered at a higher price which should have been the same price no lamb or pork offered. Vegetables every evening plus Sunday is Carrots plus broccoli spears on Sundays only which I found in edible as they were hard and undercooked. They do offer one fish dish or a vegetarian option but could definitely improve on menu choices and add some green vegetables. "
