"Probably the nicest hotel we have stayed in, parking was great, rooms were lovely, really friendly staff, breakfast was lovely, not far to to walk to the seafront or the lovely peasham park, overall 11 out of 10 if possibly, would definitely recommend the Albert Hotel.😃"

"I visited here for 3 night with my grandson. The location, views, cleanliness, bedroom were excellent. Only criticism i have is that I'm 68 and our room was on the very top floor. Not the fault of anyone. I would live to stay here again."

There were vacancies but we were put on the very top floor in a loft type conversion
Which we wernt keen on.
The door to the room was a fire door which was badly fitted to a none fire door frame which is not correct.
There was a light on the landing which through the nite kept coming on and lit up the whole bedroom because of the gaps around the illegal fire door.
We trid to cover door with a blanket to cover the light but it didnt realy work.
Next time we stay in whitby...
"Room Willow: very clean and spacious, no air conditioning, however big windows allowing a lovely breeze to come through.
Only issue we found was if you want to watch the TV you have to sit on the bed, you cannot watch it from the settee.
Nice selection for breakfast and well cooked.
Hosts were very friendly and helpful giving suggestions of what to do and where to go.
Best bed and breakfast we have stayed at for along time, definitely would go again."
"A clean and tidy well managed guest house, that offered us a pet friendly option. Location (for us) excellent, situated on the quieter side of Scarborough but with easy access to walks along cliff top promenade and gardens together with reasonably near access to main town area. Check in was easy and parking fairly easy to access with option to purchase permit. Security and access of the building was fine. The room was very pleasant clean and tidy with perfectly adequate bathroom and good storage...
"Lovely owners who knew a lot of history about the hotel. Dated decor but nice bathroom. Next to funincular railway to take you down to south bay beach. Long walk to open air theatre. Number of parking spaces in front of hotel and hotel owner has cheaper payment method. Nice breakfast"
"The room was lovely and very comfortable. I had some difficulty with the stairs both in the accommodation and in the outer building because of my mobility, so I would warn others of the steepness of the stairs. Everything was very clean and well presented, plenty of continental breakfast choices, tea and coffee etc. This would only have been improved by a more practical washing up facility than the bathroom sink. Having said that though, the bathroom was spotlessly clean."
"Wonderful people, who couldn't do enough to help. Excellent breakfast prepared by a master. Perfect eggs. Comfortable well equipped entrance suite. Temperature rose and a fan mysteriously appeared in our room, pre emptying our request. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the first time we've really been able to relax in a long time."
