"No hot water - it took literally 20 minutes for the water to heat up in the shower! Glass shelf in the bathroom fell off - I caught it before it hit the floor or toilet. The furniture and carpet were really ratty, but the maids kept the floor and sinks clean. Bathtub was rusty. Now the good stuff - the cleaning staff were great and the elevator was the fastest I’ve ever encountered - never more than a minute wait and we were on the 10th floor. "It was very humid in our room. I only had a sheet and a super thin blanket on the bed and the air wouldn’t turn warmer so I was very cold. It was my fault for not calling down and asking for a blanket. Overall it was just fine and I’d stay there again. "

Reservationist were very apologetic and moved us to a different room plus gave us drink tix and a little snack bag. We did not have a blow dryer. Property was nice. "A very good overnight place if you're going to be in Chelsea. Next door, nearly, to the iconic, if too refurbished Chelsea Hotel which has a nice French restaurant we had breakfast at. Room was fine/comfortable though the hall was dark and hairdryer didn't work. Small minuses. I go to Chelsea and Tribeca often for galleries -subway right on the corner of 8th and 23rd. Plus, short walk from Penn Station. I'll stay there again. "
