"False advertising. They are using photos from the previous franchise owners. The hotel name is now changed and run down. Don't eat the free breakfast. They only have toast and waffles that they have a staff member make for you. He handed me a waffle that was still half batter half cooked. I threw it away. That is now a depressed property."

"Staff is super nice and helpful"

"Convenient location for our needs"

"Room was clean, bathrooms recently remodeled. Just some technical issues with keys, maybe they need an updated system. It was a pain to have someone let you in elevator and in your room, when it was happening to 75% of the occupants."

"The room was clean but there was a toothpick on the bathroom floor, a few pieces of paper under the desk and the window was run down. The next morning for breakfast, there was a dead bug on the floor and they served puck eggs. The yogurt was bitesize, super small. Coffee in 1 carafé. It was subpar for the amount of money paid for the room."

"The rate was good, and the interior was very retro with a few new design elements. I liked it a lot."

"We stayed for all of ten minutes before we left again. The room was disgusting, the floors were sticky and we couldn’t walk barefoot. When asked if we could move rooms the employee didn’t even look at his computer to see if we could before he told me no. Even asked if there was an up charge that we could pay to move. The fish tank on the lobby was moldy as well, that was my first insight to how clean the rest of the place would be."

"The cabin itself wasn’t very spacious, but it was well-equipped with everything we needed. The bathroom and shower were clean and comfortable. Our only difficulty was that there wasn’t enough outdoor lighting after sunset, which made cooking outside a bit challenging."

"Wonderful hotel"

"I travel for work to Albany every week, and Howard Johnson is the cleanest one so far for the price and location"
