Hotel Howard made the grade!
I always enjoy my stay at Howard Hotel. It's been my go-to stay while house-hunting in Hudson. Refrigerator on each floor, access to the backyard, easy check-in instructions, centrally located and beautiful decor.
Excellent property in a great location. Staff were very responsive and helpful. One tip, is that if you are arriving before checkin, speak to staff before your arrival and they will help you sort out somewhere to leave your bags.
We had a very nice stay! Clean, cute room with a common fridge / coffee maker on each floor. A message from the hotel came through the app before check-in and the door codes worked just fine when we arrived. Would stay here again.
Handsomely decorated boutique hotel right on Warren Street. Easy to access antique stores and restaurants. Also walking distance to train and river front. Highly recommend
Loved The Howard! Great location, beautifully decorated and the bed and pillows were amazing along with the excellent AC - we slept so good. We joked we wanted to buy our apartments and move in! Everything we needed was there for us - convenient kitchen, dining and seating areas. The staff was very responsive and everything was immaculate. Several options for parking too!
Lovely and quiet hotel within walking distance to lots of shops and restaurants. You enter with key codes like an AirBnB, no need to wait to check in. There’s a nice coffee area setup on each floor, and the bed was comfortable.
The hotel is very centrally located and very beautiful. The room was very comfortable, and I loved the coffee maker and the cookies. It was a very nice and thoughtful touch.
This was a wonderful hotel. Other than housekeeping, there was no staff on premises, but that was not an issue. Key codes were provided for entry into the building and hotel room. The room itself was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The location was also very convenient to accessing the shopping & dining withing walking distance. I enjoyed my stay.
This hotel is a terrific value for the price! Our room was exceptional - clean, spacious, well-decorated, great ambience. The building is also ideally situated right in town, within easy walking distance of all the shops and restaurants. The only slight downside, if any, is the self-check-in - there's no front desk reception - but we didn't find it to be much of an inconvenience. A friendly manager/ staff person was around to answer our questions. Overall, we had no complaints and a very pleasant stay at the Howard.
This is not really a “hotel,” as there is no onsite staff. We had a slight hiccup at the beginning because we had not received the codes to access the building and our room, but that was remedied after a phone call. Our room (a one-bedroom apartment) was very spacious and comfortable. The biggest problem with the accommodation was that we could hear noise (voices and footsteps overhead) from other rooms, and this continued well after midnight, making it impossible to get to sleep. We finally turned on the “white noise” feature on our phone, which helped, but that really shouldn’t be necessary. Otherwise, I thought The Howard was fine, but I probably wouldn’t return because of the noise.
