Natives not very happy as the Chinese are buying up all the land around them and paradise for the backpackers is disappearing fast! Big high-rises under construction EVERYWHERE. Roads under construction, all for future Chinese tourists who'd like to gamble. Big detour to get to the beach. Howling dogs in the middle of the night woke us up and kept us awake for a while. Wifi very spotty....

"Loved staying here only down fall is they need to replace the old mosquito nets. I get really easily bit and the net had holes in it, the first night I got bitten badly so replaced the net with my own! So bring a mosquito net! Apart from that it’s an amazing place to stay beautiful views, cheap food and a great place to chill. Also would recommend getting a kayak to explore the river. "
