"Beautiful property, well stocked for easy car camping. The temperatures were significantly cooler than in the valley below. There were sooo many blankets available in case we needed them.The first night was overcast, so we enjoyed the valley view. But the second night was clear and we basked in the stars and the Milky Way."

"My recent stay at John's Yurt in High Rolls Mountain Park was absolutely breathtaking! Tucked away in a private, quiet, and truly beautiful location, it offered an unparalleled escape. The night sky was simply unbelievable – a blanket of what felt like a billion stars.The yurt itself is a marvel, equipped with everything you could possibly need and surprisingly spacious, never feeling cramped. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the pull out sofa was too guaranteeing a restful night. We were particularly impressed by the spotless shower and bathroom area, and the incinerating toilet was a brilliant, eco-friendly touch!Unfortunately, our stay was cut short by an unexpected dust storm that closed the interstate, preventing us from reaching the yurt for one of our planned nights. While disappointing, it only fueled our desire to return and enjoy a few more nights in this magical spot.John is an exceptional host; the booking process was seamless, and communication was excellent throughout. An added bonus? It's dog-friendly, so your fur babies can join in the fun! If you're seeking a unique, comfortable, and cozy getaway under an awe-inspiring celestial display, look no further.
