"The hotel was clean and tidy and in a good position on the seafront. Good facilities, coffee machine, hairdryer etc.. in room. Glass case shower in room with no privacy was a bit weird, but it functioned well. View from balcony was very nice. Only negative was Herradura itself. Seemed like it was closed in part. Not much there, unless you are a water sports enthusiast. But hotel was a nice base for the surrounding area. "

"The staff, especially Sara was very helpful. Rooms were spotless & well stocked with all we needed. Our apt had a washer/dryer, coffee machine & pods, & a kitchen kit that came in very handy. Extremely well located, walking distance to great restaurants. A 6 min $6 cab ride to Alhambra, was less expensive (for a family of 4 ) than taking the bus which also stops conveniently near hotel. "We arrived late night but was given an instruction on how to get it. The property is walkable to most monument or places to visit. We didn’t use public transportation and just walked around to mirador de san Nicolas, Alhambra, Sacremanto for Flamenco dance and other areas. "

Although i was less bothered because price wasn't the most expensive and i only come back to sleep, the hotel is very noisy and dirty and rooms are in a rough shape, the daily cleaning is not bad, but the base state of the hotel is very bad : - you can hear everything, other guests coming and going, people going up/down stairs, zero sonor isolation... - Dirty walls and cracked ceiling, - veery small and moldy shower. - very old furniture "

"The hotel is in a hill, very high, the view was really impressive and we made a lot of beautiful pictures. The hill is named "El barranco del Abogado" ("The Lawyer's Ravine"). We had to walk down the hill to go anywhere. Later on, returning by taxi, that is very cheap in Spain. Breakfast there is excellent and affordable. The hotel is near to "La Alhambra" and there is also near the stop of the Touristic Bus (Hop-on Hop-off). A good place to stay in."

"We had 2 nights booked and checked out after one. Reception very run down. Dirty tables in reception area which we stained as if someone had spilt a drink on there, still the same the next day. Paint peeling of walls, dirty pillows and scruffy blankets. We paid for a superior apartment however no idea what was superior about it. Hotel needs closing down for a few months for an overall revamp and update "
