"Great view, but the rooms weren’t clean at all, the heating system wasn’t working, and the breakfast girl was lovely but the menu was very limited and the food wasn’t good. The reception guy wasn’t friendly or helpful."

"Very nice one night stay, Steve on reception checked me in and was so friendly. The room was spotlessly clean with a nicely-stocked tea tray and also a coffee maker, which I thought was a nice touch. My only issue was the bed, for me the mattress was too warm (Was it memory foam?) but that's a very personal choice and as it was only for one night it was hardly a problem. I would recommend this hotel."

"Amazing location, great staff with reasonably priced bar and food for a premises of this nature. Slightly weird layout in that you couldn’t access the whole downstairs public space without going up and down stairs or going outside. Not a problem on a dry summers day. Exceptional grounds."

"Another amazing stay at the Lakes Hotel and Spa! We were upgraded on arrival and had a room with a lovely hot tub! We were also picked up in the Bentley as we walked back to the hotel at night time- the staff really can’t do enough for you and the cocktails are amazing!"

"Lovely location on the lake and ideal for our family for playing safely around the house and access to the lake. House was a great size for 6 adults and 3 children and was well equipped. Ideal location for many Lake District activities, restaurants and just relaxing."

"Staff were very helpful and friendly. Room was comfortable and clean. Hotel was extremely dog friendly so we decided to have dinner at the hotel and they made a table up in one of the lounges so our dog could be with us, we had the same table for breakfast as well. The food was lovely for both dinner and breakfast. Very peaceful location with added bonus of views of lake Windermere and mountains."
Lakeside 15 – Stunning Lodge on White Cross Bay, Lake Windermere (No Pets)

"My husband and I stayed at 15 lakeside lodge in early July for 4 nights. The lodge was very clean. It had all the amenities that you need. Plenty of towels, extra bedding,well equipped kitchen. The beds were very comfy. Having 2 bathrooms was very handy. The lodge was just a few minutes walk down to the lake, which was really nice to sit there on the benches provided and enjoy the views. The weather was brilliant, which always helps! The camp itself was quite clean. We ate in the clubhouse restaurant one evening, the food was really good and helpful staff. The camp is about a 15 minute drive from Windermere pier/ centre. We found the location to be a good base for other areas. I would highly recommend lakeside 15 lodge, we have already booked to go again next year! Thankyou to the host , Penny"
