Within walking distance of a local pub and onsite facilities also but kitchen very well equipped. Comfy, home away from home after long walks in beautiful surroundings. Lodge is very pet friendly but as visitors without animals, you could tell it had been cleaned well and was perfect for us."

"Beautiful views of Lake Windermere. Lovely old fashioned hunting lodge. Lovely big room and bathroom with separate shower and bath.Breakfast was chosen from a menu but took quite some time for order to be taken and meal to be served. Cocktails in the bar are a MUST. "

"We love this site in Windermere and Top Lodge was a pleasure to stay in. The rooms were all clean and the beds were comfortable. Looked for a pet friendly option and this was perfect for us. The weather wasn't great and so we watched alot of TV, the only downside was the signal was poor but hey, nothing major."

The lodge itself is absolutely beautiful — spacious, luxurious, and finished to such a high standard. The photos really don’t do it justice. It feels even more impressive in person.Everything was spotless, cosy, and perfectly set up for a relaxing family stay. We had grandparents, parents, and a child with us, and it suited everyone perfectly.Communication with the owner was brilliant from start to finish. All the information was clear, simple, and easy to follow, which made the whole experience completely stress‑free.We’ve stayed in the Lakes many times, but this lodge is truly something special.
