"Constant battle to get anything sorted. Sykes holiday cottage agents said no pets in contract after advertising as with pets. Photos made look spacious but crab walk into rooms as tiny. Friday morning not even the water was working so left early. Cleaner said it was typical of the holiday park. "

"The ambiance and area where the hotel is situated was quiet and tranquil, which helped towards a comfortable stay. Helpful and friendly staff on hand. However the stairs up to the room can be a little narrow and the room itself was too small. A standard room in a budget hotel like Travelodge or Premier Inn feels much bigger and spacious than our room. Overall, I would consider staying again – but ideally in a larger room."

"We have just got back from a wonderful stay at this charming hotel. The location, staff and facilities are fantastic, it is a lovely building. We've stayed in many hotels but this one really delivered on all fronts. We really appreciated the views from our bedroom which were absolutely awesome (from our room we could see Windermere and the surrounding scenery) we felt so lucky. The pool was lovely, clean and well serviced, with complimentary towels. The hotel gardens were beautiful. The restaurant and bar was a delightful experience, we enjoyed both evening meals and our breakfast, plenty of choice in terms of food and diet to suit most tastes. We will certainly be booking again and can't wait to return. Thank you so much to management and staff who went out of their way to make our stay memorable."

"Amazing lodge, felt very homely and welcoming, extremely clean and well maintained. Very pet friendly ! Love the idea of having a pet box stocked with toys, poo bags and pet accessories. Extremely well priced considering it was mothers day weekend will 100% be staying again in the near future."
