We were very impressed and made to feel very welcome. Everyone was very helpful and the Landlord Pete went out of his way to help with anything we needed
Brilliant property, brilliant landlord Pete,
Breakfast spot on. Rooms lovely and clean, fab shower in room 1
We will be staying again and brining the dog with us
Thank you for a fab stay
This is the second time at The Witching Post inn. We love the location.. easy to get to Whitby, Staithes, Robin Hood bay and Goathland. Pete and his team were great hosts and looked after us. Fantastic food, all home cooked and fresh local produce. We would highly recommend. We will definitely be back.
The staff were absolutely delightful! So friendly and kind. The inn owner’s dogs were also adorable, I think every inn should have a Nellie and Molly :)
We loved the ambience and the friendlyness of The Witching Post was understanding. Pete and his staff are kind, efficient and cannot do enough for you. we thoroughly enjoyed or time there and would love to go back some time.
Found this little gem as a one night stay whilst attending a concert in nearby Dalby Forest - perfect location perfect staff perfect room with fab walk in shower
One night stay en route to Whitby 2 rooms booked. We were greeted with a friendly welcome and shown to our rooms. Rooms were very spacious and clean and had all we required. We went down to the bar for food and drinks the food was very good and enjoyed by the three of us. We enjoyed the evening with the locals and our host who made us all feel very welcome. After a great nights sleep we all had breakfast again very good and couldn't be faulted. All in all a great place to stay if you're in the area and very convenient for visiting Whitby. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend The Witching Post Inn and would definitely visit again.
A great and interesting pub, great beer and food, especially the cooked breakfasts, friendly and helpful staff, large, clean room with separate seating area. Cannot recommend this place enough.
