"Again there were a variety of add on fees that were not mentioned in the booking. I would like for all the fees to be up front when I am selecting a location to stay so I am comparing apples to apples. This add on of fees when I arrive is not what I consider to be up front and honest about the pricing."

"Nice, historic hotel in a central location across from the Chicago Riverwalk and Michigan Ave. It was Labor Day weekend so the hotel was busy, rooftop was always packed and elevators were slow. Housekeeping was fantastic. Only con was the noise level from the street. We were on the -12th floor but the noise level from the street especially at night was too much. They give you ear plugs but they didn’t not work at all. I had to put on sleeping music from YouTube on the TV to drown out the noise."

"I was a little under impressed with the room itself, but it wasn’t terrible. the room had everything we needed for a weekend stay, the location was very convenient, the hotel really is beautiful. I would stay again, it just wouldn’t be my first choice."
