Top Wendens Ambo Hotel Reviews
Hyatt Centric Cambridge
10/10 Excellent
"Great hotel - it’s not central but if you have business in Cambridge ’s west campus, it’s excellent. It’s about an horizon to walk its the centre of Cambridge, and the U1 and U2 busses plus a couple of others come out here. The hotel is well-kept, with a nice lobby fully of comfy seating and spots to get a bit of work done. Restaurant and cafe in the hotel, plus another cafe across the courtyard, along with a Sainsbury superstore. The rooms have small fridges, kettles and 2 bottles of still water daily. The rooms are quite pretty and spacious."
Novotel London Stansted Airport
8/10 Good
"The staff were very helpful both at check in and departure. We only stayed 1 night but for a basic room it had a decent bathroom, was clean throughout and was generally comfortable. Would stay here again!"

Holiday Inn Express London Stansted Airport by IHG
10/10 Excellent
"Love this hotel. Ideal for me as I'm a regular visitor to London for the football, I find this hotel an ideal base being so close to the airport. My wife travels with me and we find everything about this hotel is just right, the staff are super friendly which is the biggest plus of all. If only my team were as accommodating at keeping me happy."
Cambridge Quy Mill Hotel & Spa in Cambridge

"Nice clean bedroom. Fresh bed linen. Staff helpful and courteous."
The Fellows House Cambridge, Curio Collection by Hilton
8/10 Good
"It was a mixed bag - mostly positives, but with a couple of inexcusable negatives. Pros: The hotel is new, nice interior decor and amenities (small but well equipped gym, narrow swimming pool but with sauna/hot tub, nicely done, laundry room in basement with free use of washer/dryer, underground carpark - a rarity in Cambridge (though at a fee), apartment style rooms with kitchen including pots/pans/plates/cutlery/microwave etc etc, decent bed and bathroom). Staff at front desk were great. Cons: One major and significant issue was the duvets were very poor, with huge lumps of filling in some pockets, while others were completely empty, leaving you with lots of cold spots. I asked for a replacement but it was the same. Clearly an issue with procurement quality, and something critical when sleeping in a new place. I caught a cold from the aircon and the unevenly insulated duvet. Second was the housekeeping staff who reeked of body odour. Not just one, but two different staff members - both male I should add - absolutely stank out my room. Third was a general issue with phones and communication. When I asked one of the housekeeping staff for a replacement duvet at 4pm, they never got back to me. I called again at 9pm, then still didn't come. Eventually someone came an hour later after a further call. Calls to room service were often left ringing for ages and not answered. Breakfast: it was 'ok' - standard full English, with pastries/bread etc, but a bit unimaginative."
