"Nice, very historic hotel. No A/C which normally isn’t a problem in Carmel. It was extremely hot which is very odd especially for this time of year."

"From the moment we drove up, we loved the style of the hotel, the location and the amenities it has to offer. Staff were very helpful, rooms clean and updated. Loved that the hotel was dog friendly, yet didn't see dogs all over if that's a turn off. Located near a really cute center called the Barnyard where you can literally walk across for dinner/coffee/shopping. 5 minutes to beach. Great spot you won't regret staying here."

"The first night Carmel was having a heat wave and the room was extremely hot. No AC in the room and only one of the wondows open. I know this is a rare situation but it would have been nice if they had fans in the rooms for days like this. Wouldn't be much of a cost for the Inn and definitely would hve made.the night more bearable. Weather was normal after that and we had a wonderful trip. I usually stay at the Normandy Inn when my wife and I visit Carmel which is a few times a year."

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family of 7 spent 5 days here and loved it! We enjoyed the rear yard especially...hot tub every morning, games each evening. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms were very nice."

"A fabulous experience all around. We booked for a week’s stay. The location is just a few minute walk to the beach in a lovely quiet neighborhood. The house was immaculate and upgraded and the property’s landscaping beautiful and serene. Plenty of room both inside and outside. The furniture was comfortable for relaxing and he provided all the comforts of home plus extras in the fully stocked kitchen ( snacks/coffee) bedrooms and baths. Host Daniel was highly communicative and very responsive to my many queries. He provided hiking, entertainment and restaurant recommendations that were spot on. We highly recommend for anyone who wants a supremely positive experience in Carmel! Looking forward to our next visit!! "
