"Beautiful small boutique hotel in gorgeous La Jolla. Perfect place to stay. Walking distance to shops, restaurants and the beach!"

"Ugh. We stayed two days for a wedding at La Valencia and booked a suite. We are SD natives and my husband grew up in LA Jolla. It was located a bit away from the front desk and up a steep portion of a hill with stairs. Tough to navigate in a gown and heels and a workout with all our bags to get to valet when leaving. Be sure to plan some time for the valet to get your car. The room is VERY dated and the layout needs to be better thought out. Wear socks on the carpet! Our neighbors room service...

"Great stay"

"Along the Pacific coast is the cozy Scripps Inn in La Jolla. It’s within walking distance uphill to town and restaurants, and across the street from the ocean sunsets and seeing the sea lions (1/4 mile). Easy check in/out with a small parking lot ( $20)."

"Love the retro vibe. Not restored - just original, and super mellow, in a clean, safe La Jolla neighborhood. Highly recommended!"

"I’ll definitely stay here again if I make my way back to La Jolla!"

Finally, at one point we were out by the pool when a man at the restaurant above began yelling obscenities down at us for about 5 minutes until we called into the front desk. We didn’t receive as much as an apology for this. I...

"Staff were ambivalent and not helpful. Cleanliness was an issue. Location is wonderful. Odd fees that do not make any sense!!"

"Staff balcony 5 star All the way"

"Rooms are okay good enough to sleep for the night. Rooms need to be updated"

"I loved the room . But upon arrival a few things did not work . The fire pit , we drink lots of water & where not sure if the faucet water was safe. It was warm and we must have e asked for at least 5 buckets of I e over our stay and tipped $20 & $10 each time for just ice . Phone was not working first day so could not order in. And the very efficient house keeping rang door bell and Ben with do not disturb. We attended a beautiful wedding & that was gorgeous and over the top . I love the...
