Williamsburg Woodlands Hotel & Suites, an official Colonial Williamsburg Hotel

"The property is in a beautiful setting and very close to Colonial Williamsburg. The staff were excellent. The room was nice with a living room, kitchen area across from the bathroom, then a bedroom with a door, which was nice. There was a tv in the living area and the bedroom. And it was clean. Other areas of the hotel weren't horrible, but could definitely be cleaner and use some upgrades. The continental breakfast was okay, but not the best we have had in other hotels. We were charged a resort fee for each night we stayed there, but unfortunately the swimming pool and splash park were closed for renovation. This should have been listed as closed on their website. We never did find a putt-putt course, but it must be there somewhere. So the resort fee was really charged for nothing we could use."

"We had a wonderful stay! Our room was exceptionally clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful with our questions and directions. The continental breakfast was very tasty, and the delicious coffee was a highlight each morning. The air conditioning worked superbly, and we especially enjoyed the pool and Jacuzzi—perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. All in all, it was a very pleasant experience, and we would highly recommend this hotel to others!"
